Loved the game! I think my game had a glitch of some sort and I was unable to progress past the river section (I watched another video on the game after recording this one and noticed they made it further). Really love the game though! :)
There are going to be choices, yes, but not the same kind of choices at all as in Undertale!
I'm taking things I like from Undertale, like the character-driven encounters, the overall structure and pacing, a whimsical and mismatched aesthetic, occasional creepiness, and DOGS, but using a totally different art style and a completely different story.
I loved it and will be waiting =D! And I found 2 bugs: When the character falls into the room where he has pillows and leaves, he finds himself on a black screen, but the scenery is close, and the other bug is when he persists in the battle he resurrects with infinite stamina, and the stamina indicator indicates 0.
The first one is on purpose- I thought it could be fun if the "secret entrance" was off in the darkness! But I can see how that could be confusing... I'll think about ways to improve that! And, good catch on the second one!!! That's a real bug. Thanks for letting me know! A fix is in the works ^_^
Wait, I remembered to warn you two things: The first is that I am a Brazilian and that I am writing in English using the Google translator ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯ and the second thing is that I got the reference on that flower at the character's house which is a clear reference to Papyrus = D

A serious bug I found was that the window was unmovable and started in the corner of the screen, not showing the entire window. I'm using a computer with a smaller screen, so that might cause a problem. So, I couldn't really play the game, which isn't too good.
I love this! I died in the skeleton fight and the save didnt work(im on windows). Besides that, this is amazing! it looks beautiful and has a lot of charm. I loved the batlle minigame too! gl on the full game!

I am on windows, and I think my antivirus thinks the program is suspicious because it kept doing a ton of weird things and i checked and it's deleting the files while the game attempts to make/edit them.
edit: yeah no its not the antivirus, i ran it again and nothing is happening with the antivirus but save won't work.
Great little demo! Love the watercolour art. I like the dogs facial expressions. When you're in the water their face looks funny. Very undertale inspired. The running sequence was cute and cool.
Everything in the game was very nice and pleasing.
Trying to go into settings menu soft locks the game.

This game was actually phenomenal! A very clever undertale like game and I really enjoyed it I wish you had a donation thing before the download like most games do if you add one let me know I'd love to support this project. Great job so far! my full play through of the demo here:

I believe that clicking the corner of the window (like changing the size) fixes that but Im not sure if we saw the same thing
